The bubble humidifier is attached downstream of the flowmeter via threading. It is a non-active medical device of class IIa.

The airtight housing is made of Makrolon, biocompatible according to ISO 10993-1, and has a maximum capacity of 300 cc. The plastic or metal caps have an outlet at the end of the tube. The humidifier (bottle, cap, O-ring, and silicone tube) can be placed in the autoclave.
